Embark on an epic journey into Middle-earth with The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II, a captivating real-time strategy game by Electronic Arts that brings J.R.R. Tolkien's timeless fantasy novels to life. As the interface designer for this project, I played a crucial role in crafting an immersive and intuitive user experience that complemented the game’s rich lore and strategic depth. I designed and implemented the HUD, menus, and interactive elements, ensuring they aligned with the iconic aesthetic of Middle-earth while providing players with seamless access to critical gameplay functions.

My work at EA involved creating wireframes and prototypes to map out user flows, designing visually compelling interfaces that reflected the grandeur of Tolkien’s world, and collaborating with developers to integrate these elements flawlessly into the game. From managing armies to navigating enchanting landscapes, every detail of the interface was crafted to enhance the player’s journey through this beloved realm.
